Gerry.

We will be judged by this law, so, how can you say that it should be abolished?

Unquote.

I guarantee you that the Ten Commandments will only judge those who were under it, those who were under it jurisdiction.

But Christ believers is not judge by this law, those who put themselves under the law have shown their unbelief, and the lost of eternal life is not because you break the law but because you did not believe that you are not under the law, even though Romans 6:14 clearly says so.

The law must be abolished and no longer binds any man on earth, otherwise Christ has a competitor.

quote: James Saptenno

Where there is no law, there is no sin, for the Bible clearly teaches that sin is transgression of the law. If the law is no more, then sin is no more.

Where there is no sin, there is no need for grace, nor need for a Saviour. For what would we then be saved from?

The Biblical fact that God's eternal law still stands in no wise gives Christ a competitor. But for the very reason that we have sinned against that law, warrants the need for both grace and a Saviour.

You remove the law, then you remove the need for the cross at Calvery.

Again as usual a big error that is against the Scripture.

You ignore the clear teaching of the bible that sin exist before the law, that means as I have presented, sin is not only transgression of the law, but there is sin of unrighteousness, sin of unbelief and sin of ignorance.

Where you belongs?

Without the law sin was already in the world and would exist till the end of the world.
Therefore we still need the grace of God, and his grace was poured out to us through Christ death 2000 years ago and gave men’s life back. There should be no more law that might condemn a law-breaker with death penalty, because Christ had saved him. Alive and death is since then a matter of choice, would you live eternally with God in heaven and the New World or would you choose hell instead for to be burned till nothing left. During the life you choose to live with God you may commit sins of unrighteousness, sins of unbelief and sins of ignorance, but God by his grace will remember these sins no more as long as you remain in Christ by faith and live after the Spirit.

If you choose the first the Scripture told you how you must live, if you choose the latter, then live for the flesh, which is your nature.

In his love

If you keep the law and take it as a standard of judgment and righteousness, you have made the law Christ’s competitor; you made the law a parallel way to come to the Father in heaven instead Christ as the only way.

Christ is and will always be our standard of righteousness, but our righteousness is imputed and imparted, nothing of works.

Judgment then will be based on our deeds as according to the principle of heaven where you are going to go, do you have love to your fellow man that made you acceptable to live in heaven or not. If you have it, you will be justified by your faith, since only through faith you might have a change of nature, from a self-loving man to a man that loves his fellow man. But it is done by the Spirit, that sheds abroad the love of God in your heart", that "works in you to do the willing and the doing of God.

You, as a self-loving man (which is your nature) only surrendered yourselves completely to the Spirit through faith by emptying your flesh desires, by denying it. Even tough you cannot do it by your own because it is your nature, but as long as you have the will to deny it, the Spirit will empower you to overcome it. The recreating work of a selfish heart to a heart that is filled with the love of God takes your entire life, but when you sin as the result of a conflict situation between the Spirit and your self, your sins is not imputed because there is no law and God will remember it no more (Galatians 5:16-18; Romans 5:13; Hebrew 8:12; 10:17).

But if you are under the law, the Spirit cannot help you and you were alienated from the commonwealth of Christ, you remain a self-loving man that is not FIT for heaven.

The law increases your sins and made you slave to sin (Romans 5:20; 6:14), that is not the way God wants you to live. He wants you to have a change of heart that could not be obtained through keeping the law but only by the works of the Spirit through faith.

“The law is not of faith”, so, a faithful believer doesn’t need the law and by placing himself under the law’s jurisdiction will only shows his unfaithfulness.

In His love

James S.
