At campmeeting this year I was blessed to be able to hear a speaker put into words the things that I have been discovering in my own life. Our speaker said that:

Prayer is the breath of life,
Reading/Hearing the Word of God (the Bible) is the bread and water of life,
Witnessing/Sharing what we learn is the exercise of life.

Time with God, reading/hearing the Word was likened to the manna of the Exodus, anyone want to share what was special about that manna?

It is so true that when we focus on Christ daily, our lives are changed. We need to be friends with Jesus. It is only His friends that He will be taking home with Him, only those who know Him - intimately, and those whom He knows that will have the pleasure of knowing Him for eternity. Are you friends with Jesus? How do you become friends with someone?
