I've been a veggie since 15 (33 years). My wife is also a veggie. We're also mostly vegan, except an occasional Cold Stone ice cream fix. Neither do we make a fuss over condiments if the happen to have a little dairy, like mayo.
Being veggie is usually no problem. At home we eat a wide variety of fruits, nuts, grains, vegetables, and legumes throughout the week. We normal only have 4 or 5 different things at a time. Like greens, beans, and things. Lotsa pasta, and rice, too. Italian, Mexican, Oriental, Indian, some tofu, soy milk, and rarely the rubbery fake meats.
