A couple of quick thoughts:
1.When Thomas was told to thrust his hand in Jesus' side, he responded, "My Lord, and My God."
2.Phil. 2, around vs. 9 or so, tells us that every knee will bow before Jesus Christ.
3.Jesus is Jehovah, so any command saying we should worship Jehovah can be taken as such.
Those who wait for the Bridegroom's coming are to say to the people, "Behold your God." The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love.

Jesus is the Everlasting Father.

Another one came to mind: 5For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. (Heb. 1:5, 6)

Hebrews 1:5, 6 is the type of Bible texts I am looking for where instruction is given to worship Christ.
Are there any more references like that?

The Revelation portrays the remnant people of God proclaiming the gospel to everyone everywhere, telling them to worship Jesus, the One who created us and our world.
Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Are there any more references like that? You can't get much better than verse 6. Verse 8 also helps, though that's less direct.

Here are a couple more: - Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God. (Matthew 14:33, KJV)
- And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. (Matthew 28:9, KJV)
Now note the difference between John's worship of the angel and that of others who worshiped Jesus in the following: - And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. (Revelation 19:10, KJV)
- And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. (John 9:38, KJV)
- And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. (Matthew 8:2, KJV)
- Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. (Matthew 15:25, KJV)
- But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, (Mark 5:6, KJV)
None of those who worshiped Jesus is rebuked for doing so, whereas John was rebuked for worshiping the angel. Blessings, Green Cochoa
We can receive of heaven's light only as we are willing to be emptied of self. We can discern the character of God, and accept Christ by faith, only as we consent to the bringing into captivity of every thought to the obedience of Christ. And to all who do this, the Holy Spirit is given without measure. In Christ "dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him." [Colossians 2:9, 10.] {GW 57.1} -- Ellen White.

Nice post, Green. I thought of the incident in Revelation as well. Seeing that the angel did not receive worship, but Jesus did is indeed good evidence that it is proper to worship Jesus.

Revelation 19:10 tells us to worship God. Whereas the following passages tell us to worship the creator, Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. 4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, 4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
