Here in North New South Wales we have just started our annual camp meeting. Richard Davidson (from Andrews) is here as one of the guest speakers. In his meeting on Friday morning he told us he realized on the plane coming out that it is the time right now for the Feast of Tabernacles - which of course he pointed out could be regarded as the first camp meetings - a special time for praising God and rejoicing and remembering His goodness. The Israelites were told that every 7 years during Tabernacles, they were to read/listen to ALL the Torah - and Davidson challenged us to do so. So far I have finished reading both Genesis and Exodus - in just 2 days! - and what a blessing I am receiving! Usually I focus in on just a few texts at a time - but reading like this the loving-care of our heavenly Father is so clear. The final Feast of Tabernacles is told about in Revelation - God Himself will 'tabernacle' with His people. I hope it is soon!

Amen!!!!!!!!! Our campmeeting season has definitely ended here, however, we are looking forward to it again next summer in our part of the world. Feel free to continue to share what you are learning from what you are reading. __________________________ In His Love, Mercy & Grace Daryl ![](http://www.maritime-sda-online.org/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif)

This is Thursday of the camp meeting - only Friday and Sabbath left to go - and what a feast of good things we have been having! First great blessing is that I finished reading the books of Moses - all 5 of them - in 5 days. An amazing blessing from this marathon reading session! But I will admit my eyes are a bit sore! Now I really need to go back and do some more detailed study - especially since Dr Davidson gave us an outline view of these 5 books that I had never seen before. These 5 books form a chiasm with the high point being Leviticus Chapter 16 - the Day of Atonement - pointing to the Messiah who is our Priest, Sacrifice, and Judge. Davidson also pointed out that each of the other books has a section of poetry where there is a future orientation and reference to Messiah, King. In Gen. this is chapter 49 - vs 1 'in the last days' vs 10 'till Shiloh come' vs 22,24 'the fruitful bough, 'the shepherd, the stone of Israel'. Exodus 15 - the song of Moses - vs.16,17 says about the Lord bringing in His purchased people to the Sanctuary which his hands have established. Numbers 23,24 Balaam's prophecy with its Messianic references especially 24:17,19. Deut18:15,18 - a prophet 'like unto me' (this one is not poetry - just put in the narrative section) - Deut 32-33 poetry and lots of Messianic 'echoes'. Hope this gives enough of an idea so you can follow it through. btw Davidson has a 'shofar' - ram's horn - like what was blown at the temple - and he demonstrated the calls the priests blew - and said the people were to reply - Hosannah - which means 'Save now'. So that's what he's been having the congregation in the big tent answering - even better thanthe old time Amen's that used to be called out. ALSO btw - I am told there were about 6000 people on the grounds last Sabbath. The big tent this year has 7 big poles - a wonderful congregation for the main meetings! Wish you could all be here for this last Sabbath. Heaven is going to be wonderful!
