I have recently learned of a natural doctor named Robert O. Young. He has a PhD. He gave a couple of lectures at Modern Manna with Danny Vierra.
He showed an actual bacteria transforming into a red blood cell under a microscope and proposes that red blood cells can transform into whatever cell they need to.
What does everybody think of this?
It would definitely alter the general way of thinking about how the body works.
That appears to be a bunch of poppycock. Maybe someone is trying to pull the wool over your eyes or see how gullible you are. Was this "doctor" selling something? books? herbal supplements? DVDs?
Here are some essential facts that all should know regarding this case:
1) Red blood cells, in the bloodstream, are non-nucleated, meaning they do not carry the nucleus with its 46 chromosomes (DNA) that a "normal" cell in your body would have.
2) The disparity in size between an average bacterium and a red blood cell is nothing to sneeze at. How could the bacterium convert into something many times larger than its normal self?
3) Stem cells can transform into whatever is needed. Red blood cells are not stem cells, and adult humans don't have stem cells running around in their blood.
A few questions there. I would wonder what the doctor's purpose was in making such a claim. I would also wonder if the video of the "miracle" were edited.
If I could say I knew everything, I might outright call the doctor a liar. But I don't know everything, so I have to leave at least a 1% chance he might be right. He sounds a lot like the macroevolutionists. Or maybe just a quack trying to sell his snake oil.
Blessings,
Green Cochoa.
