2020 has been an extremely different year with the global pandemic scare and restrictions, however, life goes on as we remember the reason for the season and the opportunity we have during this time of the year to witness to the fact that God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son into the world as a baby born in a manger in the little town of Bethlehem.

The Grinch pretty much stole Christmas this year. At least the worldly form of Christmas.
But there is one thing no Grinch, or Virus can steal.
The fact remains that around 2000 years ago our Creator and Savior was born into this world as a human being, as our brother. He came to reconcile us back to God and offer us life everlasting in a perfect world where we can be forever with Him.
John 1:1,14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God....
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Christ to reveal God, and to reconcile us back to God.
AND He came as the second Adam, to take Adam's place as the HEAD and representative of the human race (See Romans 8:29, 1 Cor. 15:47, 49, Romans 5:11-19) To live a perfect human life, and die a redeeming death, and now lives to ever make intercession for us.
Through Christ all that Adam lost would be regained.
What a wonderful truth!!! He came -- an event that is almost incompressible, that the king of the universe would stoop to being human in this hostile world, and even descend so low as to allow men to crucify Him.
But now
Because He lives we can face tomorrow,
Because He lives we don't have fear -- all fear is gone.
And He holds the future -- a glorious future for all Who come to Him believing and trusting and choosing Him.
His promises are sure.
No Grinch or Virus can take that away from us.
Praying that you all had a blessed Christmas as you contemplated this awesome gift
-- and now a Blessed Sabbath!

It has been a different kind of Christmas on account of the pandemic, however, it was still a blessed Christmas.
