Please pray for us. As you may know, we made the decision that I would stay home with our son, but it has been a financial challenge and lately, frustrating as expenses rise & income doesn't.
We are trying to buy a home as that would decrease our expenses but things are not looking good for the mortgage, so please, pray that God will lead & open doors as He sees fit.
Charlie also needs glasses (he's only 17 months old) so please pray that his vision is correctable and improves quickly.
Thanks everyone!

The Lord has heard from me about your needs, Sarah. He is faithful, Who has promised, to supply all your needs, if we trust Him.

Sarah, I know how you are feeling right now. Except, my staying home wasn't by choice. You are in my prayers.
Heavenly Father, you know the trials Sarah and her family are going through, I pray that Sarah has the courage to continue staying at home with their precious baby. Please, put your arms around this family and help them to trust that You will supply all their needs. This is a scary thing, not knowing if you will have enough food to feed your little ones. Please bless them. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Sarah, I will continue to pray for you.

Greetings Sister Sarah,
After reading your post and Sr. Angie's, I remembered a time not too long ago...though I will try to be brief.
It was several months after 911. My husband Lou had lost his position because all the trades stopped working because of unsurity and fears. So he went to Southern California were jobs were still being supplied. But after several months the job ended. He did not work again for a time, and our mortage was behind, and so all of our bills.
Now the unemployment checks were not doing much more than helping to pay the electric and some small bills and food for the week. But there came a time where our food dwindled. As I saw that the Ezekiel bread we had left was down to the last loaf, and I knew that I should begin to ration it out so that we might be able to eat something for tomorrow. And I did share with our boys and my spouse the information in our lack. We prayed and did not fear and just trusted in the Lord.
The next time we looked into the refrigerator, my eyes witnessed another 2 loaves of bread! I closed the refrigerator door and called on my middle son Danny to ask him if he remembered any other bread being there. He said just what was left of that one loaf. And I pulled him over towards me and opened up the refrigerator to share what I saw.
The times we travel through are sometimes difficult because we rely too much on worldly habits and forget to rely solely on the Lord. Sarah, the promise I called on was the following:
Isaiah 33:16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
Keep faith, the road may not be according to your desires, but God is working on you so that you might stand wonderfully before Him. Fear not little flock teaches our Savior, for the Shepard hears the voices of the faithful !
Our prayers are with you and be of good cheer.
With love, Cheri Fritz
