I think I would agree with what you wrote, except I would just say, "obedience is included in our salvation." (without the "perfect" in front of it). I don't really disagree with the word "perfect," but it has baggage to it and people often misunderstand it.
Also in the first paragraph, I suspect that the words you wrote would mean something different to you than to me, but I agree with them.
Those who wait for the Bridegroom's coming are to say to the people, "Behold your God." The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love.

Have not been around for some time and was reading this topic.
I would have do my old research, but I have always felt that it was the nature of Christ that would be the Omega issue.
I know this topic is someplace else on the forum and do not know if it has been posted on of late, but for me when we look at the Alpha we see it was directed at the nature of God and the Omega would be directed at the nature of Christ.
It comes down to the very true of perfection and can we be like Jesus in our own lifetime before the coming.

Graduated in 82', the dean was happy to see me go... Al and I were there about the same time, things were really in a turmoil then. Do you remember seeing the paper posted on Lorenzo Grant's door the day that Ford had his credentials taken away, that said, "A Sad Day In Adventist History"?
Christ is waiting with longing desire for the manifestation of Himself in His church. When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own. {COL 69}
