The drug system has well nigh engulfed the earth. So great has grown popular reliance upon the pharmaceutical industry and so thoroughly have the people been indoctrinated in the belief in drugs, that the practice has become a great threat to mankind.
Yes, our health is under attack from many directions. If the health message is the right arm of the third angel's message, then it would make sense that it will be strongly attacked in the last days. I believe the attack will likewise sometimes be the most strongest from fellow members in our own church. Changing lifestyle and denying self is hard, and many will defend/urge their choices aggressively. It is a spiritual matter.
I don't know if it relates, but I've heard that the root word of pharmacology basically means witch doctor. Which conveys the idea of spiritualism. Any thoughts on that?
