NOTE: There is method in my madness in posting this:
“I have found within myself all I need and all I ever shall need. I am a man of great faith, but my faith is in George Gordon Liddy. I have never failed me.” THE CHRISTIAN CENTRUY, 9/28/1977, Page 836.
“Looking at the Roman Catholic faith, I was unable to distinguish its assertion of a virgin birth, a return from the dead, and the bodily assumption into somewhere outside the universe of a man and his mother from among similar pagan superstitions. My last fear, the fear of God died with my faith. I was now alone and would have to live life armed only with my own inner resources. I felt a surge of confidence and resolve like that I had experienced years before when I conquered my fear of lightning. I was free.” G. Gordon Liddy, WILL: THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF G. GORDON LIDDY, St. Martin’s Paperbacks edition, July 1991, pages 138-139.
Does anyone want to take the bait and comment?

Sounds like the ravings of a mad man being tormented by the specter of demons on his trail.
Search me oh God and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts, see if there is any offensive way in me and lead me to the way everlasting. Amen

Thank you, now for part 2. Contrast what I posted above with what I post below.
"Now the hardest thing I have to do every day is try to decide what is God's will, rather than what is my will. What does Jesus want, . . . And so the prayer that I say most frequently is, 'God, first of all, please tell me what you want. . . . And second, give me the strengtht to do wht I know you want, what your will is, rather than my own.' I have an almost 57-year history of doing what I want, what my will wants, and I have to break out of that habit into trying to do the will of God."
NOTE: Part 3 will come later.
Gregory May God's will be done.

Sounds like the ravings of a mad man being tormented by the specter of demons on his trail. Is it possible that mad man could be you and I even if we don't realize it?
"Here is a last piece of advice. If you believe in goodness and if you value the approval of God, fix your minds on the things which are holy and right and pure and beautiful and good. Model your conduct on what you have learned from me, on what I have told you and shown you, and you will find the God of peace will be with you."

I will give it away.
All of my quotations were made by G. Gordon Liddy. The first were made by Liddy as an agnostic.
The last was made by Liddy after he converted to Christ.
The bottom line: God does not give up. The power of salvation can reach and reconcile anybody, regardless of where they are.
Gregory May God's will be done.
