the fact no one like Paul wrote anything about it is proof it didn't happen. I don't believe you ever claimed have a full understanding of the scientific method.

There are Sabbath keepers who start the Sabbath at 6 PM on Fridays until 6 PM on Saturdays. Others who keep it from midnight to midnight. And they are fully without scriptural support!

When Jesus began His work of creation it was dark. The first day of creation began when it was dark. "And the evening and the morning were the first day." Gen 1:5. The same is true of each day of creation week.
"And the evening and the morning were the second day." Verse 8. "And the evening and the morning were the third day." Verse 13. "And the evening and the morning were the fourth day." Verse 19. "And the evening and the morning were the fifth day." Verse 23. "And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." Verse 31.
In each case the word "day" includes the dark and light parts of the 24 hour period. However, the account of the seventh day is different:
"And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." Gen 2:2-3.
It doesn't conclude with "and the evening and the morning were the seventh day." Are we supposed to deduce Jesus only blessed the light part of the seventh day?

Johann, I'm sure you are well versed in the one major support for how we are to keep Sabbath (hours) in the Bible. Look at that verse in the NIV and then you can tell me why it's flawed. Blessings, Green Cochoa. I see no flaw. Where do you see it? Are you using different texts than the Seventh-day Adventist Church is using?
"Here is a last piece of advice. If you believe in goodness and if you value the approval of God, fix your minds on the things which are holy and right and pure and beautiful and good. Model your conduct on what you have learned from me, on what I have told you and shown you, and you will find the God of peace will be with you."

KJV Lev. 23:32 It [shall be] unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth [day] of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
NIV Lev. 23:32 It is a Sabbath of rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your Sabbath.
KJV Exodus 12:18 In the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
NIV Exodus 12:18 In the first month you are to eat bread made without yeast, from the evening of the fourteenth day until the evening of the twenty first day.
KJV (speaking of Sabbath) Mark 1:32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased,
NIV Mark 1:32 That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick,
KJV Matt. 27:57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea named Joseph... Luke 23:54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.
NIV Matt. 27:57 As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea named Joseph.... Luke 23:54 It was the preparation day and the Sabbath was about to begin.
