Hello to all! I just wanted to let everyone know that I am expecting a baby again. This is a wonderful thing after going through that miscarriage a short time ago. Please pray that everything will go right with this one. My tentative due date is March 30, 2001. I will know more accurately when I have my first ultrasound (whenever that will be). Thanks for all your prayers and support! ------------------ HE is coming SOON! Stephanie

Father in heaven, We know that you know the end from the beginning, and that You watch over us with a loving eye. We thank you for all You have done inour lives, the good and bad, as it all draws us to You. We especially thank You for new life, for children that remind us of the new beginning that can be ours when we subit to You, and allow you to lead in our lives. Father, we ask that You would watch over Stephanie, guide the doctors as her pregnancy progresses, and, by Your grace, may this child be born healthy and strong. Thank You, Father, In Jesus precious name, Amen [This message has been edited by Gerry Buck (edited August 01, 2000).]

Well, The ultrasound DEFINITELY went well! There is a baby in there! It is only about 2cm in length, but it is there! I am about 8 1/2 weeks along. I am due April 3, 2001. I am so excited. I was so happy when I saw the baby when the doctor moved the wand around. My husband saw the heartbeat. It will be a while before we will hear it tho. I am just glad that I KNOW there is a baby there this time! Thank you all for your continued prayers! ------------------ HE is coming SOON! Stephanie

I just wanted to let everyone know how things are going. I started bleeding on Oct. 2 and went in to see what was wrong. The baby is fine but the blood hasn't stopped yet. Please pray for us that everything will be fine. I have placed the baby and myself in God's hands and He knows what is best for us. Thank you for your continued prayers and support. ------------------ HE is coming SOON! Stephanie [This message has been edited by Stephanie Suranyi (edited October 10, 2000).]

Hi Stephanie 6 years ago, when my wife Linda was pregnant with our son Joseph; we had an emergency occur when Linda was at the 5 month mark...her water broke as she was getting into the car; and in a panic; I relfexively called our pastor at the time to ask him for prayer support. He was over to the hospital in a few minutes; and he prayed with us; and to make a long story shorter; I just bought Joseph his first electric tool - a drill! (everybody run! here comes Joseph "fixing things!"). He is very excited; and I am praying tonight that God will also provide you and your husband to experience watching this kind of excitement in your own little ones. "What is impossible with Stephanie, is possible with God." (Luke 18:27). ------------------ "We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets; Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone!" (Eph.2:20). Your brother in Christ David T. Battler

David, I heard the heartbeat on Friday, October 20 at my regular doctor visit. Well, the heartbeat was a strong 150/min. I will be getting an ultrasound on November 16th. If the baby cooperates, I will find out the sex. I have had a few people who have said to me that I could be one of those women who bleeds throughout the pregnancy. While bleeding isn't normal, it just happens with it. I haven't had any cramping, so that is a good sign and I have felt a few small movements, so I know that the baby is "alive @ kickin'" (as my dad would say). Anyway, I will keep all of you up to date. Take care and God bless all of you! ------------------ HE is coming SOON! Stephanie

Well, I just wanted to let everyone know how things are going. I am sure my dad has told at least some of you how we are. The baby is doing fine. I stopped bleeding about a month after it started. I have had a couple of ultrasounds done since then. One was just because they got a new machine and I was a "test subject" for it. Anyway, we don't know if the baby is a boy or a girl because the doctor said he couldn't find out for us (he wouldn't zoom in is the only problem). Anyway, I am now 27 weeks along and REALLY feeling the baby kick! It is actually the most wonderful feeling....for now Well, I need to get going now. Talk to y'all soon! ------------------ HE is coming SOON! Stephanie

Hi all! I just wanted to keep you all up to date. I have just a few short weeks to go and we will be welcoming a new baby into the family. I am SOO uncomfortable at this time tho. Hard to walk, sit, stand, lie down, breathe, etc. I guess that means time is close, huh? Anyway, I will be having another ultrasound on Tuesday to see what position the baby is in right now. We hope that the baby will cooperate (or the doctor will) and we can find out the sex. I'll let everyone know what is going on when I know. ------------------ HE is coming SOON! Stephanie

Just found out last night she has toxemia. They kepther in overnight again, and are talking about inducing labor. She has only 2 weeks 'til her due date so they feel the baby will be ok if they have to doit. Please pray for her andthe doctors as they work to alleviate this problem. Correction, just got a call, they are taking the baby cesarean (sp), she gained 8 pounds since yesterday and she is dialated with a rock hard cervix. doctor said he's never seen anything like this. They are taking the baby as I post. please pray that there are no more complications, they hinted she might hemoraghe, and if so, she told them that is the only way to stop it is to remove the uterous (sp?) do it. Thank you, Gerry [This message has been edited by Gerry Buck (edited March 18, 2001).]

We went up to see her tonight. I almost didn't recognize her, she gained a lot of weight during this pregnancy. From Fri. night to Sat. morning, she gained 8 pounds. She is a lot bigger than I remember her being before this, and they cut her from just below the diaphram to just above the pelvis. She also had a hernia around the navel they had to repair. She is hurting a lot, and really needs our prayers.

Oh no Gerry! That sounds terrible. Did they do the hysterectomy, or just a verticle c-section? They don't hardly do those anymore. I had two c-sections, the bikini incisions, and those were tremendously difficult to recover from. Oh, please let her know my heart goes out to her. I hope she will feel well soon, so she can enjoy baby. When you are in so much pain, alot of the joy of the birth is muffled. Dear heavenly Father, we know that Stephanie has had a very difficult delivery. We praise your name that she is safely through it and she and the baby are okay. Take away her pain and suffering and leave her only with the joy of her new baby boy. May her recovery be quick so that she can be the best mother she can be. Surround her with your angels and with your love Lord and help her to know how much we love and care for her, even though we may not have met her, our hearts are still joined to hers. I thank you for answering my prayers Lord, Amen.

She had the vertical incision as she had a hernia on or near the naval (sp?) She is also going to have a problem with weight, the toxemia caused a surge in weight gain towards the end. She gained 8 pounds in about 12 hours. Mostly water, it appears, as her legs and feet are really swollen and she has some in the hands and arms as well. I ask your continued prayer for her and her baby especially over the next 4-6 weeks. Her mom and I will be helping themm as much as we can , but, we need prayer that God will give us strength and wisdom to help in the best way possible. I think this will be a way Steph and I can especially witness to her mother ( my beautiful wife ) and maybe win her over. Thank you all very much. Go with God..

Most of the weight gained from toxemia is due to water retention, so once Stephanie's chemical balance is restored, she should lose that quickly. Sounds like she & the baby are out of the woods. Now it is only a matter of time for her system to throw off the poisons and get back to normal. And by the way, Congratulations Grandpa! We expect to see another adorable baby picture appearing here soon! ------------------ The Lord is the strength of my life and my portion forever.

HELLO ALL!!!!! I just wanted to let y'all know that we are home and doing well. I will be getting the staples out from the c-sec. on Monday. I have decided to breastfeed him. The last couple of days, he has not been too thrilled about eating at certain times. He gets "mad" at me... I know he is just frustrated, but it makes me feel bad sometimes. Angie has been a great help to me thru this tho....I ask her for help and she helps me.... THANKS ANGE!!! Anyway, I had to give him some formula to get him to eat this afternoon.....I didn't really want to, but I felt that was best considering how hungry he was and that he just wasn't latching on. Also, the pediatrician said that he has started to become jaundiced. I have to watch that....that is another reason I gave him the formula. I will keep y'all updated as new info comes in....Take care and God bless each of you.... Oh, one more thing, hearing your baby take those first breaths and hearing him cry is the most wonderful sound in the world. While I was kind of expecing a girl this time, I wouldn't change my precious son for a million girls! And, after looking at the face of my beautiful baby, I came to the realization of the wonderful gift that we were given by our Lord. I know that I couldn't give up my child's life for anyone...I would give my own life, but not my son's. That our Lord sent His Son for us is the most AWESOME gift anyone could give. I guess, once you become a parent, you realize these things more clearly, huh?
------------------ HE is coming SOON! Stephanie

Stephanie, I am thankful that things have turned out well for you and your new son. Congratulations. Glad to know you're breast feeding. You won't regret it. It's a wonderful experience. You're right, there is nothing like it. I don't regret breastfeeding Jesse or Amber, now. It was the best thing for Jesse, he grew SO fast and well! Amber is really thriving on it, too. I think she's gained at least a pound and a half. I thank God every day for my little ones. They truly are gifts from God. And, Steph, I agree, I couldn't give my children's lives, but I would give my life for them in less than a heartbeat. Anytime you need help, Steph, let me know. ------------------ God bless! Angie
