Rep. Reilly opposes countywide school mask mandate

On Aug. 24, the Oakland County [unelected] health officer issued an emergency order generally requiring masks in indoor school settings for students in preschool through 12th grade, as well as staff. The mask mandate applies to all public and private schools.

Penn State announces immediate COVID-19 masking at all campuses
Penn State will require all students, faculty, staff and visitors ? including those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated ? to wear masks indoors at all campuses.
Vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself from serious illness leading to hospitalization and death.?
(Except that masks work better?!)
Penn State is not impartial when it comes to getting vaccinated. .... Students and employees who have not informed the University that they have been fully vaccinated by Aug. 9 will be subject to required testing during the fall semester.
(Yes, at Penn State, you do have a choice. A choice of being treated as second class, even though they admit that vaccination doesn't protect against disease)
