How is that different than a human with the body of a mouse? Isn't it the brain that makes a human human?

I remember in high school watching a film that showed scientists mixing human genes and mouse genes together for "experimentation". Definitely knowledge has increased, and The Lord is coming soon!

Knowledge has increased Will, yep. But with so many of these so-called scientists nowadays, wisdom seems to have flown right out the window.

It's interesting that this is an issue deemed impossible by anti-Adventist web sites. They claim it proves EGW was a false prophet, and yet, here it is happening!

Do you think it is possible for science to create the huge dinasaurs (excuse spelling!!??) again? Didn't the people before the flood create these huge ugly animals and this is why God allowed them to die in the flood?

Someone set me straight on this!!

So I don't think it's necessarily true that the larger dinosaurs were some weird laboratory experiment. They were just BIG; as they came from the Lord's hand at Creation. But God allowed the larger species to perish in the Flood because He knew that as man's stature decreased after the Flood, we wouldn't be able to deal with them:

"Soon after the flood the [human] race began to rapidly decrease in size, and in length of years. There were a class of very large animals which perished at the flood. God knew that the strength of man would decrease, and these mammoth animals could not be controlled by feeble man."
{4SG 121.2}

Actually, some small 'dinosaurs' are alive today; such as the tuatara (sphenodon), found on some islands off New Zealand.

Hi all,

I stumbled on the above quote on the EGWhite website when I was trying to figure out the dinosaur issue to explain to my five year old who is fascinated. One of the things that has struck me is that if you look at a lot of the dinosaur models and pictures that you see in books or museums, they look very much like amalgamations of several different animals reptiles or birds.

I have also read that scientists have found very few complete skeletons and many of these beasts were hypothesized from a single bone (this from dinosaur books by non creationist scientists). My own theory (with no scientific proof whatsoever) is there must have been tremendous turbulence in the water during the flood as the water came out of the earth and everything was heaving. Those dead people and beasts floating in the water must have been torn apart and as the water settled and they were buried in sediment, the bones must have been very mixed up. This coupled with the fact that the creatures would have been huge compared to what we see today could easily lead scientists to believe that there were a lot of beasts walking the earth that were different from what we have today. Perhaps this explains the existence of very many of the prehistoric species they have found.
